Here in Argentina, processed or frozen food is so expensive that you end up cooking everything from fresh products. Before I moved here, I didn’t even know what red beets look like outside of a can. Inspite of eating all the steaks I want, I haven’t been on a diet since :-)

Most kids today only recognize french fries as a vegetable. I once had to identify every single thing I put on the grocery belt, except the apples.

selling point for fresh fruit – reduced packaging. no cooking. eat as is. (though some perk up with a cold shower)
