This is not at ALL good.

I’m thinking that it’ll be a (no pun intended) “kangaroo” trial where they’re guilty until proven innocent.

And here we thought because he was a nice soft panda ,he would be compassionate. Now Val is angry, maybe she could group with Wally and start changing the unwritten rules. Oboy, the same kind of thuggish extreamism from the other side. None of this will end well. Unless they get distracted in having to deal with a more direct existential threat from the topsiders. Or could this be the beginning of the end of Endtown? These kind of fratricidal conflicts can turn into suicidal death dances.

Lucky no-one mutated into a bamboo shoot.

There’s an ominous phrase, “faith in the cause”.

Allgood: “Maybe you should have actually read the pamphlets we gave you when you joined our Society. ‘Mutants are evil and must die’, ‘Human inside’, ‘Eating mutant foodstuffs will make you go blind’ or ’You’re either with us, or you’re pushing up non-mutant daisies’.”

This is the moment that black storm clouds move in and cover Endtown. Up until now, it has been a light-hearted vignette about chocolate cake and some wacky Keystone Cops antics from the rats. Now this is for real. Endtown is a refugee camp made of traumatised survivors. All had been relatively stable until this moment; now there has been a shift in the landscape, a tilt of the horizon that is simultaneously subtle and seismic. Things here will never be the same.

Is it just me, or does Mr. Allgood look like Richard Harrison, a.k.a “the old man” on Pawn Stars?

For some reason, I imagine Truman Capote as Allgood.

Careful Roxie, this panda makes people “disappear”.

I don’t know if the Panda has bad intensions. Somtimes you have to push people to get them solve an underlying problem. Maybe he’s trying to force attention on a tabu he wants to be gone by setting a precedent.

Where is Perry Mason when you need him?

Allgood: “We’re going to help your friends by putting them on a show trial, finding them guilty of something that isn’t a crime yet, and executing them where they stand. Do you want us to help you, too?”

The problem with people who have faith in their particular causes is that their energy is boundless because they believe that they’re doing good.

Did I not yesterday say behind fancy words can lie sinister intents. In this so called trial:Maude would be accused of accepting her “cowness” there for rejecting humanity.Linda would be accused of using and corrupting mutants into using their “non-human” attributes there by rejecting humanity.Holly would be accused of “encouraging” the use of mutant attributes there for rejecting humanity.So they would all be accused of “Rejecting Humanity” by the Society for the Preservation of Human Values. Lets compare: Topsiders want a perfect human race. This Society wants a perfect “mutant” human race. Both seem willing to use whatever is necessary to achieve their goals. Both groups just as dangerous.This “trial” will be the perfect stage to take down Jackrabbit and his mutant accepting rhetoric. Holly, Linda, and Maude are now pawns in a much bigger chess game.Can anyone say “Matlock!!!!!!”

Fair trials are definitely not ingrained or instinctive in human nature. In fact they have to be enforced by law to follow the idea.

That would take care of Linda and Maude, but Holly? “Aiding and abetting?”#Also, what does this Mr. Allgood know of Linda’s background? It’ll all come spilling out and everybody will know about what she did—-and, even if she wins through, how could she live in Endtown after it?#Come to think of it, the closest thing we’ve seen to a trial is the thing about Albert and Gustine presided over by Flask and Mallard. Does this mean we’ll see the rats act out their activities and bake a cake themselves?

I don’t know why everybody is so concerned about the trial. . .Mr. panda has already said, “. . .she and the others will be well taken care of before the trial.” Trials? We don’t need no stink-king trials! Why is it that “well taken care of” doesn’t usually mean just that? They’re not going to be well at all.

And after the “trail”, it will be blindfolds and cigarettes for all the convicted felons, to be followed by a early morning firing squad!

Anyone else get the feeling that 30 pieces of silver would fit right in in this scenario?

You know. If I were Roxie I would be concerned. She could “disappear” if she continues. She needs to walk away before she is “taken” away. Mr. Allgood (Yeah ALL GOOD that just rings this is not ALL good)is a very dangerous person. One call. Roxie can kiss her furry butt goodbye. I would imagine killing (silencing to say any opposition) is acceptable to the “goals” of the Society.

Trial? If Holly is correct, and there is no law concerning the use of mutant generated food products, how could there be a trial? Has a law or regulations regarding this subject been quietly passed?

I can think of a couple of fun ways to fix Mr. Allgood’s wagon, but I’d rather shut up and see where Aaron goes with this.

ok, so previously we saw one radical political group encouraging people to give up on the idea of being human and go by their animal name, now we have another radical group willing to bribe police to arrest people for doing just that…this is not going to end well at all.

The question is: how are they going to be taken care of after the trial?

Better hope it makes a trial.I bet it is not held publicly.If it is a public trial it will just be a circus. As stated before “Sentence first, verdict afterwards”.

Remember when Al and Gustine were on trial for treason?They weren’t even present when the trial commenced. They were just locked away while the procedings went underway. They didn’t even get to witness the verdict!It wasn’t until Mallard came to their cell with “Petey”, that they knew everything was going to be okay.Unless Wally, Petey and Dr. Mallard come through for them, they’re in for a long wait.

I bet it will be a Kangaroo Court with a Kagaroo Judge presiding over it all.

Should we expect a mob with flaming torches and pitchforks to surround the jail? Law is not always honorable . Blessed be.

If word gets out that Roxie dimed Linda, she’s going to have a really difficult time finding anyone to talk to. Especially if Linda and those caught in the net around her are “made examples of”.

Andy Panda all grown up. How many of you recall watching Andy Panda cartoons when they were kids? I can see that this ‘cause’ Allgood is mentioning is more of a hellish road paved with good intentions.

Things not to say at this moment:“Excuse me one moment, Mr Allgood, I just have to wash myself in a very special way.”

@Jenner did ANYone mutate into a plant? Do we know if they did? Interesting problem that.

Which should come as no surprise. Justice has been superseded by greed long since in our society. Don’t think that would change in a post-apocalypse world.

One would hope so! Human milk is made precisely for human babies.
