It wouldn’t surprise me at all. Slick Willy and Hilary are two of the most savvy politicians we’ve ever seen. Hilary now has all the ’credentials" necessary to hang out for a run for the presidency.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she runs, but I’m thankful she’s not starting any campaigns right now. We need time between campaigning when people can actually govern.

So, I will just state that as usual you are totally wrong once again!!!
Morty you try very hard but everything is not the republicans issue to blame. Bush was as failed a leader as Obama and in my mind Obama has perfected the art of campaigning almost as effectively as Clinton. Although Clinton was a much better leader. Obama is just George Bush Lite he is carrying on so many of his legacies. Contrary to you, I don’t justify Obama’s actions by the stupid action of a predecessor. It all just adds up to politics as usual.
I guess one thing that is always frustrating to me is the constant back and forth rationale that if Bush did something or Regan did something then it’s okay or acceptable for a democrat to do it. My contention amidst all this constant campaigning on issues is it wastes a hell of a lot of money and does nothing more than get the politicians face in front of the cameras. I consider it a waste of money, time and resources. Stay in Washington and work on issues instead of everything being debated in press conferences and media sound bites. i spend most of my energy reading financial news, reports and very little political opinion. I get that direct from C-span, congressional journals and Bloomberg, BBC and other videos. I gave up on trying to fit my beliefs into one of the two parties: I was too liberal on social issues for the republicans and too conservative on fiscal issues for the democrats. Wallah, I became a Libertarian, and not a republican definition of a Libertarian.
What I do know for sure is that we waste enormous time and resources arguing morality and lifestyle issues as our country sinks into a morass of debt and deficit, with nothing but rationalizations and arguing as a supposed solution to our problems. I would assert that If all of us spent the same energy hounding our political representatives about our feelings and hammering on them for solutions as we do each other on these boards Washington would have a better direction to follow.

When Hillary publicly begins her 2016 campaign, it will go something like this …“My fellow Americans, in 2008,we started a conversation that I would now like to continue …”When that occurs, i’m sure people will say, as they did withBill , " Well, things and circumstances change. Peoplechange their minds".
They should form a retirement morning coffee group where they can discuss solving world problems, then go home and take a nap – Biden, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, McCain, McConnell, Boehner…..
