Personnel experience I know it possible to be inexperienced and know bad sex when you feel it. Maybe I’m special for spotting that so long ago but I really don’t think those kind of girls improve or inspire that kind of contentment.

There’s no problem. She’s not complaining about Paul. She’s talking about getting a big enough box of chocolates so that she can eat some too.
Neither of them is perfect, but because Claire is the main character, we see more of her quirks.
