Unfortunately you are right. He was awarded a preemptive Nobel on the promise/premise that he would not be George W internationally. He has not lived up to that.It shows that even the Norwegian Nobel Committee can fall prey to magical thinking.

Written by a person known only as “Dr. Toon.”

“It is my theory that there is a chemical imbalance in the brains of certain people which causes them to see politics in places where it does not existThese poor wretched people can’t control themselvesNot only do they read politics into every situation, but they are compelled to spew forth their opinions in inappropriate times and placesIt’s likeDementia, Paranoia, and Tourettes all tied togetherAwful as it is to be exposed to such people it must be even worse to be onePity them”

Is this getting really off the wall and hard to follow. Not much comics but not sure either what Angfil is talking about. So much for comics and a good laugh. Relax Angfil look Read BC and Garfield those bring a smile today.

“These poor wretched people can’t control themselves”I’m surprised that any of them end up here on the funny pages. Most of my friends with this affliction spend all of their time searching the Internet for validation of their theories.

I normally agree that political comment that comes entirely from left field is a matter for flagging, and have flagged many such comments myself. However, I have to also agree that in this case the example of the Nobel Prize for the intent to do something rather than actual accomplishment is a good example of exactly what today’s strip was addressing, and therefore not off topic at all.
