I’m guessing that “Boo” is now thinking that re-incarnated Jay-Bird is imprisoned by Buddy and will launch a ALF style liberation attempt during which the peacocks will fly into the windows of oncoming tractor-trailer rigs, resulting in a multi-vehicle pileup. The deadly mix of peacock and human blood which is superheated in the ensuing inferno spawns a race of zombie vampires that can only be stopped by Gil’s Girls, an secret squad of elite cheerleaders who fire small cesium projectiles from their eyes. Radiation poisoning subsequently causes the entire Milford population to be reincarnated as hermit crabs, which are then wiped out by an aberrant rouge flock of Glaucous gulls.

I am starting to believe that Gil and the wifey are now with the kids. Do they put pictures of entire famlies on milk cartons? When was the last Gil sighting? The strip is called “Gil Thorp”…right? Just saying…
New theory: Buddy is Jay Bird reincarnated, and he is trying to get Boo’s head screwed back on. We will later find out that there is no place past the ravine… maybe actually no ravine. The games will continue. Jay Bird hated his brother.
