My daughter’s friend “S” had the contents of her gym locker stolen on Feb. 1st. The thief had cut through a flimsy cable. By the time S contacted the credit-card companies 1/2 hour later, the thief had run through c. $3,000 on one card and $2,000 on the other. S had to change car locks, house locks, get her driver license replaced, and was out an iphone (or some kind of fancy phone) plus a hand-held device and new shoes.
