P3 – Now we know his secret. Smoke a joint, then spot the peacock. Maybe he should lay off the weed if now the bird is talking to him.

Excuse me young man! I am from the Audubon Society to retrieve my lost peacock named Jay. Have you seen him?

Two possibilities. One, it’s Mia’s father. He’s just found out she’s dating this kid and he wants to put an immediate end to their relationship. Two, it’s Gil. He hasn’t done any real coaching in so long he’s not sure if Scott Fowler is even on the team.

I’m guessing it is a man in a zoo keeper outfit asking “Have you seen a stray peacock?” Fowler will be crushed… and his shooting will be in the toilet yet again. The logical explanation that his brother was a reincarnated bird will need to be replaced by the cold fact that people don’t become birds when they die. Another story his mother told him, false.

I’m goin out on a limb here and predicting some sort of “Sixth Sense” dead people storyline. This will be a dead zookeeper and the peacock and Mia are dead too. In fact, this whole storyline could just be a figment of Fowler’s imagination and he’ll wake up on game day to find out Gil has coached a heck of a season and Milford is really in the state championships.

“Excuse me, young man, would you like to join us for dinner tonight? We’re having roast peacock.”
