Tea Party. NRA. Shameful indictments against America. We have to let them exist, but where, oh where, is the honor? What a disgrace. What a pitiful disgrace.
Sorry. With Georgia’s likely next Republican senate candidate saying that Geology, Biology and Embryology are “lies from the pit of hell,” I’ll laugh all I want. Your ignorance is self-inflicted. You could smarten up any time you want. But it has to include looking at the world and accepting what is there. As in, if Republicans actually wanted a balanced budget, why have they never proposed one? Why did government spending go from $12,000 to $16,000 per American under GWBush, but it’s gone down under Obama?
Bruce, I have nothing against any group of people that really, really wants to reduce spending. But I haven’t seen one yet. *Some of your references are EXACTLY why the Tea Party has lost credibility. Example: FreedomWorks is funded by the Koch brothers. All they want is lower taxes for billionaires, lower taxes on their type of industry (oil) and relaxed pollution regulations on their type of industry (oil). Two out of three reduce gov’t revenue and, as the last 12 years have shown, don’t result in more jobs.*And then they wonder why their favorable/unfavorable rating is dropping?
Bruce, sorry, but it’s just not an insult to laugh at something that is silly and ridiculous but doesn’t realize it and keeps on talking and talking and talking and…..ad nauseam! Clownish behavior gets laughed at and these guys are true clowns. If 8th grade boys were given real power, they would act like these guys (and girls). Take a look at some of the stupid, insulting things they’ve said about liberals in the past. You just can’t keep saying that kind of stuff and expect people not to laugh. Sorry man, but this cartoon is right on! Thanks Clay!
Bobby Jindal provides vouchers for kids to learn creationism. That would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. Kids who never learn science are excluded from any job that requires biology. Except maybe picking strawberries.
The first I heard about Bobby Jindal and vouchers was on Politics Nation.A Louisiana judge declared the voucher program unconstitutional but Jindal didn’t stop the program right away.http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/nov/28/bobby-jindal-louisiana-creationism-caseand http://www.policymic.com/articles/20083/bobby-jindal-creationist-bill-ruled-unconstitutional-by-louisiana-courtWhether he has stopped since November I have not determined.
BTW the Bennett cartoon for Jan 26 shows the inside of a torture room with an iron maiden, a rack, stock, GOP on the door, and a gray haired gentleman putting out a WELCOME mat.The caption says “Republican outreach.” I was hoping they would post it because I am not sure what that means.
Here is a good one. Jindal says evolution is disproved by the existence of the Loch Ness Monster.http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/41520_Creationist_Governor_Bobby_Jindal_Is_Calling_Other_People_Stupid_Again

The first thing you do is insult us, and then you accuse us of not being tolerant.
There are these glass things called mirrors. Try one out.

The joke has worn thin, but these clowns still can’t fill their own shoes. (More like worms than snakes, btw.)

You’re right, it hasn’t. Obama’s suggestions are the ones that took us out of the depression. Reagonomics made the 1980s economic hell.
