Monty makes an interesting, rather gritty, figure study…. But he may have some trouble holding that pose for an hour.

Those of you who thanked me for the link yesterday…. it came from tattooedcyberidiot…I just re-posted it as a live link.

It was posted to THAT site last summer… but I researched it a little and it seems to actually be from about 2001, when Robotman was removed.

And tattoooed… Going pro has nothing to do with posting pics or links.

You just need to learn or cut-and-paste some simple HTML tags.

when I’m not so sleepy I can post some links to instructions if you like.

That said…. to me, Pro is well worth it, for what amounts to 3 cents a day, I see NO ads except for things like new strips on this site, or new books from the cartoonists, and no pop-ups ever.

Meanwhile, I couldn’t find many old Monty pics…. but these small ones are from Robotman days…I don’t see any curls by this point…. but he is thinner.

The artists do not look impressed. I did life drawing at a university art course. My best works were of the not so perfect figures.

That Dachshund is very subtle, isn’t it? Well, more subtle than an Oscar Mayer Wiener would have been anyway.

I’ve decided not to be an artist, I just wanted to paint beautiful “things”…

    Thank you, Six!

    br>And, wow…you CAN do it, T C Idiot!

The thing to watch out for is controlling the width…

Yours is fine, but if you’re using a picture wider than about 350 -375 pixels you have to put in width="350" or whatever size you want it to be.Otherwise it will be huge and annoy people…. especially anyone with an old computer or who has to use dial-up.

Pictures you can link to that are on the web and already of appropriate size are the easiest…if you’ve saved and/or altered them on your computer, you need to find a free hosting site where you can upload and link to them.
