Wow, I’m sure Janice feels really special now that Cathy has done her duty of talking to her for 45 minutes and can now check her off her list. Jeez, Cathy, maybe multi-tasking wasn’t such a great idea. I feel overwhelmed daily with all of the things I need to do, but I try not to shortchange my friends or the good things in my life.

A beautiful midweek day – but rain and sleet predicted for the next two days. I think I had better get out and absorb some vitamin D.Have a beautiful day yourself.
If Cathy spent as much time doing the job she was hired to do as she does “yakking” away on the phone to her mother, Janice and everyone else she wants to “check off her list” that are personal rather than business-related, she wouldn’t have so many “to-do” piles of paper all over her desk (which is now starting to fall on the floor) that she can’t quite seem to get done while she’s there 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
How any of the slackers that are always standing around — gossiping, eating, drinking coffee, shopping online and just, in general, goofing off rather than doing any actual work while they’re there — manage to keep their jobs is beyond me!
