Okay, I can relate to this one. As a kid I always loved getting my fresh new school supplies, and even now as an adult I still get weirdly excited about going to Staples to pick out office supplies.

As for me, all I can do is look at the leaves in the trees and hope they stay there for another week.

For myself, it’s Fall cleaning to get ready for long winter days and nights spent cooped up inside the house. At least it will be clean., and the winter wardrobe ready to go.

Good idea. I am about ready for fall, but in So Cal we are currently having three digit temperatures.

Why is Cathy’s mother “breathing new back-to-school supplies” when she has no children (or grandchildren) to buy them for? Meanwhile, she seems just as unorganized as Cathy is so why do either one of them even bother shopping for things like that to begin with? Seems like a ridiculous waste of money to me ….. but, then, that’s par for the course where Cathy’s concerned, since pretty much everything she buys (except necessities for “the girls”, of course) always feels like a terrible waste of money to me anyhow!

It is not back to school supply fumes that get me it is the back to school ads that start even before school is out for the summer.September – time to prep for winter. Removed the boards from the dock yesterday so it can be lifted for the winter. Today it is take out the irrigation pump and intake hose and maybe even start rolling up the hoses for winter storage. Definitely not my favourite time of year!

I hope everyone enjoys Labour Day today – if your country recognizes the holiday.

A little cleaning is always a good thing, whether it’s spring, autumn, or any time of year. As usual, though, one of our trusty Whack-a-Doodles has taken things to the extreme. Ha.

    HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
