I have never once gotten all worked up about using my tablet. Is it because I’ve never used any Apple products? Because I’m a woman? Because I’m a sane person?

I enjoy my iPad, but I’ve never acted like a six year old about it. It’s an easy way to read before I go to sleep, and is great for when I want something useful, yet don’t want to carry around a laptop. It is portable yet easier to read and use than my phone. I also have an Apple watch which has its purposes. I am not obsessed with any of the technology that I have though, they are just part of my life, not all of it.

Pretty, shiny, expensive tools. It’s like having a lawnmower that’s also a movie theater, a helicopter and library – the grass gets very tall.

Nice to see I hang out with reasonably sane people here. We may or may not have iPads (I do) but we don’t get all worked up about it. I was rather upset when I had to buy a new one after my old once (iPad3) start to sloooowwwww dddddoooowwwnnnn. Very frustrating this planned obsolescence.
It is a great afternoon. I am now a genetically modified organism. Too bad we have to wait for 4 months for the second shot to become immune to COVID. Ah, well. It is definitely a step in the right direction.
lindz.coop – that is a lot of new cases every day. Death threats? Somehow I think we have gone wrong somewhere in the past. Considering the past few years I guess it is not surprising some people have given up believing what they hear – unless it matches their own opinions of course. I hope we can somehow improve in the future.
I hope everyone here is looking forward to a fun weekend.
