Expanded my dynamic range! Restored my vocals to the fuller, richer clarity I originally intended! AHEM. IT IS IN GIVING THAT WE RECEIVE! DO UNTO OTHERS! COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS! EAT MORE FRUIT! Cathy: Wow! Mr. Hillman: Digitally remastered mother. Mrs. Hillman: With archival photos and liner note to-do lists!

More like…“digitally remastered, crazy, annoying, repetitive, boring, predictable, much loved anyways, mother”.

I wonder what, exactly, orange speech sounds like. Maybe it’s trying for that autumn ring to it? I guess Cathy’s mom is finding out …

smorble the great and beautiful has it right. I may have told this story before (I’m old and allowed, even expected, to repeat) but a few decades ago when the mine I was employed at closed down I moved my family down to southern Ontario where my parents lived as I had a job lined up there. We lived with my parents until we were able to find a house – actually have a house build for us. One night I was sitting in the family room reading as I always do before going to bed. My mother was lying on the couch reading as she always did. About midnight my mother says “It is time for bed dear”. I looked at her and said “Mom, I am 39 years old and will go to bed when I am ready.”. She just looked at me and said “It is time for bed now”. I went to bed. Proves you never stop being a mother and you never stop being a son. Sure miss her.
If the sun would shine today it would be a perfect fall day. Rather cool but no wind. I managed to finish up the last of the outdoor things that had to be done before winter. I hope your day was near perfect too.

No matter how great it sounds, it’s still nagging.
