If Cathy was shopping now, she would be looking for the perfect mask to wear with each outfit. Perfect, and cute, must be cute of course. “Does this masks make me look thinner?” “Which one of these styles of masks look better on me…the pleated pretty printed one, or this smooth plain one, that makes me look like a sheep face?”

2009 and 2020 seem to have a lot of similarities! Including, of course, that women’s fashion is totally divorced from reality.

Yet another dull, gloomy, wet Monday. Leaves are no longer green and some trees are already bare. So far we have only had two very mild frosts so it could certainly be worse. I hope your day is sunny.

(Have you tried doing a funny comic strip about retirement accounts?)
