Well, she does look good. I’ve had the same profile picture on my FB account for at least 5 years, and I hardly post any pictures of myself. But I do appreciate it when there’s a good picture of me because that’s rare.

My profile picture on FB is a dragon. Only my twitter account as a real picture of me. For years there was no picture of me anywhere on FB that was linked to my name. In recent years I have relented and, knowing my name, you can find what I look like – usually posed with one or more of the dancers I have lit during their recital. Cannot get use to young girls dragging an old, overweight, balding man onto the stage to have their picture taken with me by their parents. Does help boost my ego though. I does help that I am usually high on adrenaline as it is right after the recital – and I do enjoy doing the lighting and special effects for dance. If there is one thing I truly miss because of COVID is lighting special stage events. I hope things are back to near normal in time for the Christmas recital.
