Humm. I wonder if that get up ever got anyone a job outside Hollywood or Broadway. I sort of like the Roman look, but it seems to be one of those fashions that hasn’t really come back around. Sort of like powdered wigs and triangle hats.

Pretty ugly duds, if you ask me! So better not ask me….

I wouldn’t wear either one of those two get-up’s anywhere in public except to a Halloween costume party but even then, I’d buy it somewhere else a whole lot cheaper than from an expensive mall department store! :-P

Yup. Definitely not everyday work wear – not even go outside the house wear.

Ah, the first sign of spring. On Saturday we could see over 50 ice fishing huts on the lake. Today there is only 1. Spring is definitely coming soon (and no, the robins are not this far north yet). Not only that but I was able to see the reflections of the lights along the shore in the water. Of course the water is from the rain over the past two days and is sitting on top of about 1.25m (4’) of ice. Still, it is the first real sign of spring.

I guess the unemployed angle comes from being 2009 when this strip was originally published. But the connection with “goddess wear” is tenuous at best.
