Andrea: Fad diets don't work. The weight always comes back! Cathy: I'll deal with that later. I just want it gone! Andrea: The weight could be back in a month! Cathy: I don't care. Andrea: It could be back in a week! Cathy: I don't care! If the weight only stayed off for fifteen minutes, it would be ok! I just want it out of here for a while!!! Andrea: You're not looking at the big picture! Cathy: I'm sick of the big picture! For once, I want to see the petite picture!!

I can relate. It is sort of like the wonky mirrors at a fun house. Just to see myself tall and skinny is a gas. Now, if I could just find one that gives me my ‘20 year old me’ hair back. …sigh

That boat has sailed, Cathy. For a lot of us, it seems. Best diet ever….push yourself away from the table! Better yet, don’t go near the table. (says me who is going to go and eat a Klondike bar from the freezer) Oh, better padlock the fridge, too.

I haven’t been petite (short) since elementary school so I’ll never see the petite picture no matter how skinny I am. And I’ve got some curves that ensure I will never be stick thin, but I’m fine with that!
