At least THESE humans take care of their dogs. I knew a couple who had a beautiful little Sheltie. They would go to work and the dog would spend all day in a small kennel. One time my husband & I went over soon after they got home. They let the dog out of its kennel. The dog was so happy to be out, and to see PEOPLE!!! He jumped up on my lap…and peed a little. Without a word they just grabbed the dog and threw him back in the kennel. They never took the time to actually TRAIN the dog.
Why have pets if you’re not able to interact with them when you’re home? This is one reason why I have cats and not dogs. While my cats want my attention plenty of time, I don’t have to take them out for walks the way I would have to do with a dog bc I know I wouldn’t have time for that.

Today I am glad I don’t have pets that need to be walked. Another cold one but with bright sunshine. I think I will just stand in the window to enjoy the sunshine again today.
Not a good day here. Well, good enough but not great – sort of. Last night I figured it was time to clone one of my secondary drives. I do it every few months since the data on it is not critical and most is replaceable. While being cloned the drive failed – great timing! I got the backup drive today and installed it. Of course it had to be the bottom drive – the one where you have to take out the power supply to get the drive out. Got everything back in and powered up. Windows would not start. Unplugged the three secondary drives (or is that secondary, tertiary, and fourthiary???? or is that quadiary?) and thankfully I am up an running again. I guess tonight I will have to figure out what cable is loose or what drive is causing the problem. Ah well, it has been a long time since I have had a drive failure. Oh, the backup drive, it was more than a few months old – more like 18 months. Lost some unimportant statistics so no big deal. Also figure I will be cloning that drive tonight as well. Sure in a lot better situation than those who have their phones fail and do not have all their pictures backed up!
Hope everyone is having a day without these little annoyances.
