I just hate when my dog eschews up my egocentric values of the self-absorbed world in which I live.

I do not think eschews means what Cathy thinks it means. (so many useful quotes from that book and movie).

Cold wind today. Was typical for tree hunt day – although these days the tree hunt means driving to the local store that sells real trees. The fun part is imagining what that tightly bundled tree will look like when in unfolds. At least the trunk looks reasonably straight on the one we picked out. We will know better in a few days when we bring in inside to thaw out. I still think slogging through the snow in the bush looking for the perfect tree was more fun – but I was so much younger then.

I hope everyone who drops by today is having a great day.

Hendelca…We’ll probably go out to one of the tree farm dealers this weekend and get our tree too. I’m kinda thinking about an artificial one because I think I might be allergic to the junk the trees are sprayed with now, but I’m going to try it one more year….As for Cathy…total eye-roll.
