Lightenup We did get the rain all day yesterday. Grass was showing green in spots. Then the temp dropped like a rock – from 7C (45F) yesterday afternoon to -19C (-2F) now. Even my anemometer froze so don’t even know what the wind chill is. Road are not too bad since it started to snow sometime in the cooling so the ice was covered by wet snow that became dry snow. With a covering like that the road are not really slippery. Just have to drive carefully – which is the norm for winters here.

Well if the butcher, baker and candlestick maker all agree, who’s to argue with that? Thanks, lightenup, my walk was so nice…great to be outside for the first time this year …but alas, freezing rain and snow were back today along with wind that is shaking the house and the temp in the teens again. Maybe next week…..
