Dad: there are some picked-over chocolates that need our attention...

I like those gift basket crackers – they usually come with really delicious cheese to put on them. Cathy and her parents must have gobbled up all the cheese without putting it on the special crackers.

Normally Cathy’s dad is such a sensible man, which always makes me wonder how he’s stayed married to a neurotic wife for as long as he has [not to mention the fact that he somehow survived raising an even more neurotic daughter than that] . . . until the holidays arrive, where he suddenly becomes just as big a whack-a-doodle as his wife and daughter is!!!!!
