Charlene: So there we were...the middle of nowhere...day four of a ten-day trip...with a full memory card and a frozen laptop! Mr. Pinkley/co-worker: Oh, no! Charlene: My husband got on cell to find a place that could transfer files to CD...but we were nowhere! You couldn't even buy more digital memory! Mr. Pinkley/co-worker: What did you do?! What did you do?! Charlene: It took 36 hours, but we finally got a PDA wireless web navigation connect to a mini-mart two counties over that could download and e-mail our vacation photos home! Mr. Pinkley/co-worker: Wow! Bravo! What an adventure! Co worker: We saw Paris. Charlene/Mr. Pinkley/co-worker: Yawn.

Happy Friday Clan! For those who have a holiday on Monday – enjoy the long weekend. For those staying at home or even working – be happy – you are missing one of the worst traffic weekends of the year (in Canada, this weekend’s traffic is surpassed only by the long weekend in May and our Thanksgiving weekend in October – open the cottage and close the cottage weekends). One of the issues I have with newer cameras is the view screen on the back. I have seen way too many blurry pictures taken by someone holding a camera at arms length in front of them – not realizing that it is almost impossible to hold anything steady in that position.
