For most people, Cathy. You don’t really need notes, articles, instruction booklets, etc. (eye roll)Hello Cathy Clan! My in-laws left yesterday! While it was probably one of our better visits, it sure is nice to have my house back! And unfortunately, Lil didn’t really warm up to them and that was awkward too. :-/
I finally took all my stuff to my friend the CPA on Monday. I don’t know why I procrastinate so — it took me all of 45 minutes to get everything organized for him. Am I the only one in the Cathy Clan to wait until April to get going on the taxes? I do it every year.
Yes, catsarge10, I am a procrastinator too. I don’t know why I wait until the last minute. I think I have all this time and all of a sudden it’s the last minute again. Happy day all.
I thought Cathy had a CPA that did all her taxes for her? Shouldn’t HE be the one upset about all the paper mess she’s got for him to sort though?
Hi, rgcviper!
catarge10: My husband is one of those people that begins working on our taxes in February after the last of all the paperwork he needs has finally come in. However, since we always seem to end up owing more money at the end of the year on top of what we’ve already paid (and therefore, won’t be getting any refunds), the paperwork just sits there on his desk until around April 14th or 15th before he finally mails it in. Why pay the government anymore money in advance when they’ve already taken away so much as it is?!? So we just make them wait for the rest!
lightenup: Glad to hear you all survived the in-laws’ visit and your house and family can finally get back to normal again. Sorry to hear that Lil didn’t warm up to her grandparents though. I saw mine all the time when I was growing up so I can’t imagine how weird that must have been for her . . . so closely related and yet feeling almost like they were total strangers. But hopefully that won’t be something that lasts forever and once she’s older, maybe things will be a little less awkward between them. It would not only be good for her but it would also make everyone else around them feel a lot less uncomfortable too.
Hello and Happy Wednesday, fellow “Cathy” fanatics! Hope your day is going well so far.

I’m not a taxpayer – and I’m so pleased about that!

“Paperless” usually means more paper.
