Seems a little fishy to me….

Hard to tell which one Flo is looking stunned about or at.

Andy is rolling up his sleeves cause the waiter said it again… so, he’d be best to duck this time….. and yeah, must be an English thing; mind you, I wouldn’t think ANY girl would enjoy being compared to a fish. All in all, it’s nice when you get those rare glimpses of just how MUCH Andy REALLY cares for Flo…deep down

ps. I love Flo’s expression: As if she’s thinking “Does he really care for me THAT much?” Or maybe: “That was so FAST!!!”

Normally, in this kind of situation, Flo just looks embarrassed; kudos to MGG for a pretty good strip tonight!

Yesterday, someone mentioned that the gnome looked like it was possessed by a bear, truth is, the gnome (Who vaguely resembles….someone….) never actually moved, it just seemed like it, in Andy’s beer-soaked mind! (And I think the Cop “gets” that!

Can some of you Brits clue me in on something? A few months ago, the Bobbies were wearing modern Police caps, lately, they are wearing the more traditional helmets; does it have something to do with the time of year, or perhaps rank? Why do some wear helms and others don’t?

Do your comments sometimes disappear? I think I’ve found the reason.

Simply put, GoComics, in their infinite wisdom, no longer allow fancy characters (if it ain’t on your key board you’re SOL).What do I mean “Fancy”? Well characters like Smart Quotes for one, most anything from the Character Map for another.So what happens? Say you copy another commentors post into yours. If it contains an apostrophe, single or double quotes you’ll notice that they are the curly type (’, “, ”). If your post contains any of these symbols then the entire post just disappears (into that alternate verse where things work you think they should). This also happens if write your comment in Word (with Smart Quote enabled) and then copy to the comment box.The same goes characters and symbols copied from the character map.

So now you’re thinking “Hey, I’ll just copy Bev’s comment into Notepad add my 2¢ worth and copy back to GoComics.” Nope, SorryNotepad retains the curly quotes. So you’ve to Find|Replace them first.

And those of you that use Alt+num to insert symbols, that don’t work no more either.

By now those of you that have had their morning coffee/tea/beverage may have noticed that this comment contains some special characters.

I’ve done this by inserting HTML number codes.I type: One quarter ¼ plus one half ½ equals = three quarters ¾You see: One quarter ¼ plus one half ½ equals = three quarters ¾

Gweedo from what I can translate he reveres you and your abilities. You two speak a language only men seem to understand. Maybe if we women had more experiences with crow bars and sledge hammers as well as circular saws and cad systems we would understand more… In the mean time in between time (grrr i want my commas back) aint we got fun? Welll laddies it was was fun…still could be….if anyone in any of our immediate families had bipolar disorders, or ptsd, or depression in its many forms – I cant see any of us giving up on any of us due to these treatments/medications Heck if ya did with the meds i take for MS I would fall out of the competition immediately…I only hope my sweet Steve can get go comics off his back or bring himself back as an anonymous member that makes himself readily known…Its just not AC without our symbolic Eldo….such a different person than any I have known…so interesting….so many conversations I have looked forward to…I feel he would stretch my understandings and deliniate my questions…and make me wonder why my mind acheived those understandings or questions.In my head Steve is an intelligent gentle sensitive artist with a brilliant mind that our own may not be able to deal with nor identify inpersuant to our own indeals of the same and because we flat out have no experience of the ideals he speaks of nor of the work he sugguested we follow to begin to understand the clues that were left to us. I am not a mathmatical person but I do understand numbers and I plan on breaking the emails I recieved in the last couple of days to at least attempt to do so. I will be brutally honest. I had to think of what might be required of me and was I able. Nothing more will be required of me that what I choose to give. I am more than able. And Ready. And Willing.

Oh One other thing ! Eldo calling me a cougar rocked my ego and gave me a serious 15 year olds giggle…

Ensiform was created about the time Eldo was decimated. The posts are cogent and seem to be of the sort we expect from our symbol. Eldo if its youthen kiss florrie and you can then lay claim to others…

oh Bev I expect nothing because that is what I gave…I was so frightned for him, that what rolled forth was just something I was ready to slide through and get through to get to what would get us through…maybe I am as obscure as our symbol in ways, but privacy does come at a cost…and yes, I was melting and may still be…

Andy thought the waiter was calling Flo a “trout.” So he reacted, as often he does, by clobbering the offending person.

At least he is semi-respecting Flo
