With all the good stuff verboten, that leaves only – Gasp! – veggies. Shudder.

I tried something similar this past week… it was not a good week. :)

The only time I “go on a fast” is when I’m too sick to eat.

I’m on the seafood diet…I see food, and I eat it.

I’m on a “shock” diet for the next 2 weeks. No meat, white flour, white rice, white potatoes. Skim milk and 0% fat yogurt only, egg whites, brown rice, beans, oatmeal, fruits and veggies only. I want my meat and sugar!! I know fruits and vegetables are sweet, but I really want the ‘forbidden’ items to balance the sweetness of all the rest of the food.

Food sensitivies have whittled my allowables down to just pork, egg yolks, corn, rice, veggies (except potatoes or soy products) and a few fruits (can’t have cherries, pineapple, bananas, peaches, apricots, pears). I get by with having some things that don’t seem to bother me too much, like cheese and the occasional egg or ground turkey.

I have the perfect diet for folks….eat less and exercise more. Now, how do you suppose I could turn that into about 15 chapters to publish so I can make a mint?

That’s not a fast, that’s Garfield’s definition of “diet” (“die” with “t” added on)
