People seem to forget there allready are age restrictions on movies and games, so its a non valid argument to bring up. Blame the parents if they let kids play games, or watch movies not directed at their age. Also a related sidenote – things evolve, and games are no longer “just” for children. But I bet you didn´t bother to keep track of such things.

“I do not believe in taking away the right of the citizen for sporting, for hunting and so forth, or for home defense. But I do believe that an AK-47, a machine gun, is not a sporting weapon or needed for defense of a home.”

I cannot find a reputable site stating that this “quote” came from Ronald Reagan. I’m calling B.S. on this one.

How many people can you murder, in under a minute, with the disc from a DVD player, a TV remote, or a VHS tape??

Yes our culture is violent, maybe because Reagan (Grenada), Bush 41 (Panama, Iraq), and “W” (Iraq, Afghanistan) get away with killing thousands of people in the name of “national defense”, and kids begin to think mass killing is acceptable?
