Every time a musical guest is announced and there’s a bunch of loud, shrill screaming, it never fails, it’s always one of those tweeny boy bands.

“I don’t always watch late night TV, but when I do it’s Leno”. Dave is an idiot with the lamesy skits I’ve ever seen.

Pluggers are too busy with the important things in life to pay attention to the self-absorbed, narcissistic celebrities of today.

It’s not just Leno! It’s Letterman, Ferguson, and Fallon. Then if you don’t get your fill of “who-heck-are-theys” at night you can tune in the next morning to GMA and/or its identical twin “Today” and see some more of them!

AND BY THE WAY. As long as I’m venting, Robin Roberts is dead! He died in May of 2010. I was in the hospital at the time enjoying a heart bypass operation (a plugger top 10 I’m sure).

These Pluggers have one of them fancy flat screen televisions. Must be the 1%ers of Pluggerville.

Not just Leno. It’s the award shows, like the Grammys, etc. Never heard of any of ’em!

Love Carson, Leno’s okay, but Dave is a dipstick.

DevilsNight: Yes, and Steve Allen did it the other way around – he made his guests famous.

When Carson left the air, I quit on Late nite TV. These guys on air now are bad jokes. Letterman is the north end of a south bound mule. Leno looks like he never recovered from a pinch in the face, Those late late guys? Who cares?

Ferguson is the funniest guy in late night; too bad he’s on so late (thank God for DVR). Leno’s monologue is always funnier than Letterman’s; Letterman’s just been phoning it in for the last 15 years, undeserved Emmy awards not withstanding. But he does occasionally have an amusing Top Ten list still.

marmar in MI: I know of them and have seen clips taken from kinescope footage, but TV hadn’t made it out to the boonies like Dallas back then.
