Re yesterday: The mind is a fragile thing but can also be quite adaptable. My step mother’s brother was autistic (I never met him) but apparently he was a genius when it came to football results in the 20th century. Pity he was institutionalised.

Thank you all for your kind words about my friend Ruth…I will pass on your good wishes to her…as for me being there for her, I cant imagine doing less than all I can for her as she is one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing…a heart as big as a Montana sky, and a wicked sense of humor…we have a blast together and I want to keep her around for a few more decades…ok, off to early church services then to go see my partner in crime…everyone have a great and restful Sunday!

Looking at today’s strip reminds me of my football ( soccer) officiating career. I have, over the years refereed many " Over 40 leagues" with a bunch of middle aged men huffing and puffing up and down the field, pretending they were still 21 years old.Not a pretty sight but often quite hilarious !

Thank you, dear. It was in a plastic tub where I had the quarter inch tubing that I made my watering setup for the tomatoes with last May along with some other stuff. I had already replaced it, so now I got two of those. Had a good day. Got up to at least 70 F with nice bright sunlight. I too hope that Number six’s current job is a good one with a more stable future.

Glad you found it in the end but if you lose it again… At least you’ll have a spare.

Hope it stays nice and sunny for you. The snow is really bad here. I hope I won’t fall and hurt myself on the ice again.

I will also pass your nice words on to Number Six too.

Hope you have another very nice day.

Hey Mikey – Evangeline needs to spend some of her inheritance on a nose job!…lol…very funny character though!Buggerlugs, great Pogo today…thank you!

Number 3…send Number6 my regards as well please. I am glad to hear he has full time employment again. I have been praying for him in that regard.Ruth is napping and the nurse said she has been given some meds to keep her calm and so she will be well rested before her open heart surgery in the morning. Please keep her in your thoughts in the morning and send some good healing thoughts her way…Thank you all…

That’s true… I do have a pair like that with the ‘grips’ on the bottom.

The other ones I was wearing didn’t and maybe that’s why I took a tumble.

The ice wasn’t visible that time.

By the way, I was sorry to hear about your breakdown in 1977.

    I hope you’re OK now.

I usually just search the net until I find what I want. This time I used Google Images. The cartoon is about 2/3rds of the way down the page.

Gweedo, saw your comment to me at Pluggers yesterday. That’s okay for bigger cities I guess, but I enjoy that view in my little town! :-) It just looks so nice at night! But I have always enjoyed city lights at night, and I guess our Mall reminds me of that. And looking down from a hill makes it look really pretty!

oh, ok, I see what you’re saying, well, if I had to describe my style, I would use the term “rubbery”often the body parts stretch, rather than bending at the joints; and my facial expressions are even more so!This is at least partly due to the fact that I draw almost in silhouette , then fill in the details, rather than start with geometric shapes as most artists do.
