My cat will toss the darkest bits of her Meow Mix from the bowl and leave them uneaten on the floor before she consents to dine.

And that’s another thing about Labradors . . . . you can feed them the same lousy dried dog food day, after day, after day and they love you for it.

I hate it when the cat tries to scratch the floor up over his food dish to bury it.

Our cat will try to cover up shrimp, tuna and salmon feast sometimes, but if she finds some pasta or peaches left over from dinner on the table, she devours them.

You don’t have to read this, zedman: our cat loved bananas. She’d jump up on a refrigerator to get at them. Once I put a loaf of banana bread wrapped in plastic wrap on the counter, and she jumped up, slashed the plastic, and had at it.

    I enjoy the stories.

May I suggest that, when Ludwig is featured, you just skip the comments?

Regardless, it is interesting that folks have no qualms about relating anecdotes about their pets, but talking about one’s children online seems to be taboo. For some feason, we’re expected to find stories about your children boring to the point of being offensive, but stories about your pet is fascinating stuff.

Pedantic is pointing out that lions are African and Middle Eastern, while Water Buffalo are in southeast Asian and adjacent island nations. Those in Italy that provide mozzarella cheese are exotic, not native. I was kidding, not attempting an insult. Apologies and feel free to pedanticise my comments, but please don’t attribute bad manners where none were intended.
