I have a theory: President Obama nominated Hagel knowing the right wing chicken hawks will not confirm him. This will make republicans look even more out of touch and extreme than they already appear.

I’m glad Hagel seems to have a more realistic stand on Israel. I’m tired of us backing down every time Bebe decides to something antagonistic. How many more settlements? He even announced some while Biden was in Israel waiting to meet him. I am not absolving the Arabs, it just seems that this prime minister is going out of his way to thumb his nose at us.

Looks like 8 years of Obama nominating “useful shields” (Hagel is a Rino GOP clone of Obama’s leftist policies)and “lowest common denominator” clones….
