    More utter nonsense.

My tax withholding is exactly the same as last year.

Social Security contribution went up, a little bit. That would only really be a tax if the r/w channel the funds to the rich rich and I never collect Social Security AS PROMISED.

I support fixing Social Security. If not, give me a full refund.

I usually don’t respond to your idiocy, but I have been paying for my own health insurance for 4 years after being laid off, and it is $330 a month which would be far less than $ 6000 a year.

Funny. From the way you complain about it, I thought that YOU were the Robber Baron that would need to fund your wage-slaves health care out of the profits that you so rightfully deserve by sitting back and watching them work.

Based on my most recent paycheck. a $36 increase in Social Security (offset by a $9 decrease in state income tax) would be $700 dollars a year less than last year, gross. Far from $3k.

The only inconsistency is that the EBT /obamaphone subjects of TAKER NATION don’t care about tax hikes…"No more so than you care that the government subsidized phone service you refer to as the “obamaphone” was actually created by the Reagan Administration. Keep repeating your lies. There may yet be someone stupid enough to believe them.

To the Barack Obama true believers, does all money belong to the government?

What utter nonsense. Every rate ever initiated is a still a tax hike when compared to 0 before 1913. (Some would say 1802!)

There is no National Sales Tax. You are basing your post on the tax on medical devices and the e-mail circulating which shows the tax applied to a holster and items sold at Cabela’s. That was a programmong error on Cabela’s cash registers and none of the items are subject to the tax. Anyone who paid this error may apply to Cabela’s for a full refund.

The increase in taxes for those making over $400,000/year is only on the amount over $400,000 that they make. The rates they pay on amounts up to that amount stay the same. If you are makiing over that amount, just stop collecting your pay to avoid that 4.6 cents per dollar. Just have those checks made out to me. I’ll gladly pay your tax.

I can infer a few things from your comments:Your employer has not been offering health insurance to employees.Small businesses with less than 100 employees, will generally come out ahead. They will be getting tax credits to offset the costs of offering insurance. If you work for a true small business, it wouldn’t surprise me if your boss forgot to tell you that.Sounds like your employer is a douche-nozzle.

Singles over $400K, couples over $450K will MAYBE PAY an added whole FOUR PERCENT, IF THEY PAY THE MAXIMUM!! Oh, my, poor, poor, dears.

My group health plan, through a “private insurer” goes from $438 to $468 per month, to cover my spouse, as I have another source I could depend on, called VA, that costs nothing. Of course, if SINGLE PAYER and ending fraud, like NOT paying whatever drug companies ask for Medicare, had kicked in, for EVERYONE, my rates would have dropped by not less than 50%.

Health care does need reform, and the last thing we need is more “conservative answers”.

What a dumb cartoon. Earth to Lisa: Obama voters knew taxes would go up. Even Romney voters think taxes are too low. It’s the responsible thing to do, and in general we support the American country. It was Romney’s obvious lie that we can cut all taxes, increase defense spending, put 600 billion “back into Medicare” and balance the budget that Americans didn’t agree with.

The tax that was “temporarily” lifted has been re-instated. It was understood (by those who pay attention) that the “lift” was only temporary. (insert dictionary) The need for funding for Social Security has been obvious to every thinking individual since FDR. Please apply some common sense and realize that with the “receiving” of SS benefits comes the “giving” of funding (as in a tax). I hope that isn’t too complex for the pure and “simple”

No, federal law does not overrule state law, the tenth amendment. Gives the federal gov only the authority of the constitution. All other authority belongs to the states. The fed has been abusing their authority for such a long time, most people falsely believe that the fed is the ultimate law.
