I can’t stand that silly smirk of his. Down there, Mitch McConnell would probably be considered management material.

When did he become ths sole reason for going over the cliff? Where is Reid, Boehner, Pelosi, and, most importantly, President Obama?

No, it’s not. McConnell is like a murder/suicide fanatic, willing to destroy our country in order to “save” it (or millionaires, at any rate).

It’s easy to say, “don’t spend it if you don’t have it”, but that is far to simplistic for today’s situation. W “had it”, then slashed taxes and raised spending.

And you are God of course!! ONLY God and Jesus can say just exactly who is going where. If you are even close to being the Christian that you claim to be, you should know that and not condemn any political persuasion, one way or the other!!!!!

Mitch and the Republicans have the same objective they had in 2009 – Obama must fail, regardless of what happens to the country. The current proposals are ludicrous. Think post-WW2 when the nation boomed:.-Shut down the military and the war machine and employ men and resources for peaceful purposes. -Tell the military-industrial complex to take a hike.-High tax rates on those that could afford them.-Massive public spending on infra-structure, education, and research – stuff that increases the productive capacity of the nation. -Raise capital at home, not borrow from foreign countries that exposes you to the vagaries of the capital markets and foreign exchanges..The country boomed then and it could boom now with proper public policy and with a Congress that works for the people, not for their next re-election.
