I’m so tired of hearing about the tea party’ ! They have messed there tea all over tea and sent reason and reasonable talk and action out the door and reduced productivity to near nothing.
“Political Opinion”??First ScottPM said “Recall they didn’t exist until after passed Obamacare and his so called stimulus act.” which makes absolutely no sense AND is historically incorrect.(1) Then he added "That’s … after Obama passed ", which is factually WRONG. (2)
(1)ScottPM doesn’t even know the history of the Tea Party. Their modern day origins go back to 2001, their first formal "statement of principles’ dates to April, 2009.(2)The President doesn’t pass any bills, that’s the function of Congress. The President signs them into law or vetoes them. This was covered in detail on Schoolhouse Rock’s ’I’m Just a Bill’.
So I’d say King of Me is correct, ScottPM is still an idiot.
“Obama is the leader. The buck stops with him. But as always, he blames someone else. And low information voters believe him.”-Really? Do you? I’d never have guessed.
… “My opinion on certain issues is VERY Conservative, and on others is VERY Liberal, it depends on the issue.”-Mine too… and I think your suggestions are interesting — but they don’t fix the “Koch”-type baloney. Any ideas on that?
I’m in complete agreement with your post.I guess that just leaves the vast majority of us scr… er… messed up… by their continuing plays for “power”, doesn’t it?
So it boils down to the S%$$* sandwich, the more bread you have the less s%$$ you have to eat.
a congress that obstructs EVERYTHING that a president tries to get done is what we have. A few well placed Tea pottys !who want Guns, Old fashioned patriarchal “GOD” , and NO! is always the ONLY answer, and we have the most un-productive congress and useless government ever. we
“We are Bankrupt, $16 Trillion in Debt is a clue”-Who had the control of the card Tigg? Who chose to send our fund… and our PEOPLE into pointless wars?-And who was cowardly enough to keep those expenditures “off the books”…? At least, until the next President took office?.How IS Shrubby’s “brush clearing” going on in Crawford, these days? Hmm? Tell me.
Tigger said, “Yet you blame Bush for this mess instead of the real people responsible for creating this mess was the Democrat Controlled House from January 2007 to December 2009.”*Do you really think that our financial mess began in 2007?*You are off by a few years. How about 1981. Our debt was only $1 trillion then and has been going up far too quickly since then. I’m not just bashing Reagan. It went up under Reagan and every other President since then. At the same time, we’ve been increasing our military budget just about every year, importing more oil (and paying more for it most of the time), letting more jobs move off-shore (by not insisting on reciprocal import-export taxes), and letting US companies take tax deductions when they close US factories and offices.*Let’s place the blame where it squarely belongs- on our political system. We elect “lawmakers” who can only raise enough money to get re-elected by doing the above things that got us into this mess.*The answer is to a) elect more ethical representatives and hold their feet to the fire, and b) have a long-term vision.
Pretty much, Mr. Morin, pretty much. The good news is that the tea pottys are on the way out, have been, since they had their big opportunity in 2010, and pretended that they were going to help the economy. Instead, they got our credit rating downgraded. Thanks, guys!
Bad news is that in about another 20 years, another group of NeoBirchers ( probably the grandsons of the original Koch-founder of the Birchers in the 50’s), will rear their ugly heads and dupe yet another generation of RedState voters into thinking that someone is mooching their money. Lets hope those voters have started paying their fair share by then….
