I do miss the 4 seasons living here in Arizona.

Not the last couple years. After nearly eleven months, Chicago finally had an inch of snow yesterday. I’ve been out riding the Harley—without the heavy cold-weather gear—in November (when it hit 70 at least once), December (50s) and January (47 last Saturday). And while it dipped into the single digits early this week, it’s supposed to be back in the 40s on Monday. Go figure…

I knew a guy who went to the movies once and missed summer.

I am lucky to live in the Owens Valley at the base of the Eastern Sierra, we have 4 true seasons and I enjoy them all!

I think you slipped that one right past the weather whiners! …and yes Vivaldi is outstanding!

why do we need seasons?

I’m siding with the winter whiners. Would love to be in Az.

They call Cedar Rapids, Iowa the “City of Five Seasons”, due to Indian Summer. I call it the “City of Five Smells” due to various stinky industries.

In Southern California, we have four seasons, and they frequently all come in one week. Or, you can drive to them: winter on the mountains, spring at the beach, summer in the valleys, and fall in the canyons.

Now, we do have 4 seasons in central Florida:

My mom used to say Seattle had two seasons: winter and August.

Having 4 seasons isn’t so great when a large percentage of them is unliveable.
