I understand that newspapers are losing readers, but maybe Henry should read one every couple of weeks so he knows more than what Rush and Hannity tell him.
Funny how "conservatives’ didn’t raise a fuss when a Republican controlled Congress raised the debt ceiling 6 times during the Bush Administration. They don’t care about the debt, just which party is creating it.
Agreed. Scott and many others who like W Bush and dislike Obama forget that W’s $800 billion TARP was done AFTER Sep 30, 2008 and therefore was included in fiscal year that ended during Obama’s first term. The debt increase is quite different when you subtract $800 billion from Obama and add it to W Bush.
That would be Boehner going out the door to be with “the boys”, like McConnell, Cantor, McCain, and from both parities demanding we buy more weapons for “defense” even the Pentagon and the services DO NOT WANT OR NEED! ONE “system”, the failed F-35 is $1.3 TRILLION over 10 years, just ONE contract that represents the entire “savings” proposed by Obama, and TWICE the “savings” Boehner proposed.
