I sometimes go over to FOX NEWS just for laughs. Here is the first line of the leading story on the passing of the Fiscal cliff deal. “Obama says he will sign bill after House approves Senate legislation halting massive tax hikes and delaying spending cuts in a 257-167 vote, despite some House Republicans’ concerns.”
I love it! “despite some House Republicans concerns”
Except that those same Republicans would have thrown the US back into the same recession that we had in 2008-2009. The Republican vote was 151 “NO”, and 85 “YES”!
And FOX says “concerns”, and that is funnier that any cartoon on this site!!
My new years resolution was to omit the drudge report from my “news” sources since it’s mostly just a portal to people like Alex Jones and race-baiting freaks.
Since this isn’t a news site, sometimes you have to look up the figures yourself. "Obama has indeed presided over the slowest growth in spending of any president using raw dollars, and it was the second-slowest if you adjust for inflation.” — Politifact.
Obama’s rate of spending is especially frugal when compared to that liberal spendthrift Ronald Reagan, in whose first year Federal spending increased over %8.
Some would say that the highest budget of FY 2009 should also be Obama’s, but the first year of a presidency has already been set by the time a president takes office, so it is usually attributed to the last administration. And the Great recession had certainly started before President Obama took office.
Also the budget deficit for FY 2013 is a projected budget, and that before the latest Fiscal cliff deal in Congress, it will probably be less, but how much is yet to be determined.
These are the facts, like them or not. Source:

I believe this to be a somewhat conservative business oriented site. Please go there and see the charts, they are very informative!!
I’m not sure what you are disputing. I simply pointed out that:*a) US Gov’t fiscal years start on Oct 1 and end the following Sep 30, not Jan 1 and Dec 31 (that’s a fact)*b) TARP fell into the 2009 fiscal year, which had a HUGE deficit that many people blame on Obama. (that’s a fact, too)*c) 40% of Obama’s stimulus was tax cuts that the Republicans insisted on, and that also fell into the 2009 fiscal year and further increased the deficit (that’s a fact, too)*So what is your point?
Clear Channel was carrying Miller, Schultz and even Air America on many of their stations. They even ran a contest looking for the “next national host”. All of a sudden they pulled the plug.Boston changed to a Spanish format, then moved that to a stronger signal. Columbus went to sports, which immediately tanked except for Jim Rome. They replaced Miller with Beck in SF and ratings dropped 90%. So no one wants to listen? It takes a commitment to make a program work. And money from the Heritage foundation! And no, George Soros does not fund liberal radio.
They’ll never infringe on his rights because he’s one of them! Of course that’s what lots of tyrant supporters think just before their “trial” and execution!

When the parent company divided Fox news was put with entertainment, not as news. As it should be.

“are you talking about the O phone?”You’re thinking of the R phone. Government subsidized phone service began during the Reagan Administration.
