right on…..my 10 lb housecat has the cheap wooden door trim on the porch torn to shreds…at least it stays away from the furniture…if the cat was any heavier i’d be afraid of it

On a cold day like today it is good to have a 101 degree cat to help warm me up.

Our kitty is actually impressed by the paper shredder. Whenever we use it he dashes from wherever he’s napping and watches intently. After every sheet he looks up as if to say “Do it again!” He goes outside to do his own real shredding but sometimes scratches at things to get our attention — a gentle scraping at the cupboard where his canned food is kept, for example.

My cat was shredding my condo so badly, I had to declaw her. She was scratching everything except the several scratching posts and pads I got for her. Rugs, chairs, banisters, couch, my leg…
