Here’s something to consider:[]The weapons Adam Lanza used in that attack were registered to his mother.[]His mother was a teacher at the Sandy Hook School.[]Now what was that again about how arming teachers is a GOOD idea?
The NRA’s standard response to a tragedy involving guns is to say, “Now is not the time to discuss gun laws (or anything to do with gun ownership/registration/etc.)”. I think that’s why your comment was misinterpreted.
Afghans and Iraqis love their children too, our invasions of their countries, and inability for nearly a decade to actually get the guy who DID attack the U.S., led to the deaths of thousands of those children, so where lies “the moral high ground”?
Refusing to stop the assault on our peace, at home, and burying dead children, because some few of us want their “toys”, is indeed immoral.
“Arms”, does not mean civilians should have soldiers weapons in their possession, period.
