Joan: I can't believe you're taking me to PARIS.
Wally: You deserve it.
Joan: But...what about the KIDS?
Wally: Your mom and sister said they'd watch them.
Max: !?
Joan: How much NOG had they had??
Wally: Who cares?
Max: !!!
No comment on this particular panel. Just wanted to thank Ms.(?) Eliot for a great comic strip! Stone Soup first appeared in one of two local papers to which I subscribe about 6 months ago; and has quickly become a favorite of mine. I often save it for last since it never disappoints! GREAT art work, character facial expressions and body language…as well. Keep’em coming, Jan!

One doesn’t seem to be too happy about the prospect already. The other two seem catatonic.

Well, they sell “Egg Nog” by the case (24 – 64 oz. bottles) at the local lacquer store! Stock up NOW!

If they get all “lacquered” up, they are going to need one heck of a shower!

Well, we won’t see the chaos till spring. By then either Val will send them outside – or gramma will do her drill SGT thing and keep them all in line!

Just realize Joan that you are going to owe them big time. You better bring them some very nice souvenirs.
