Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Lets all think back to the glorious days before unions. Employers could work you all day for low wages, keep you going through the weekend, put your kids on the line right next to you, pay you next to nothing, have no saftey requirments and smile all the way to the bank. It’s about time we started putting those evil doers in their place. Unions..pfft…
Hm. I wonder why unions tend to support Democrats… probably the same reason you have a hard time finding liberal no-bid defense contracting companies. When someone’s biggest goal is to kill you, you tend to lean towards the opposition.
Unions make up <7% of the American private work force. Workers have wised up. 80 years ago they had a purpose and prevented employers from abusing their workers. We also used a horse and buggy. Times have changed and the biggest thugs have become unions. They closed down public schools, public transportation, newspapers, etc.
California is almost bankrupt and over half is debt owed to unions. If you were an employer would you open up a major plant in a right to work state or one where unions are your partners and actually want the company to succeed? Most growth in the US is in RTW states. See Texas, the South, Arizona.
Take away the Unions and you wont be able to tell the difference. Did the collapse of 2008 teach you anything? it taught me cooperations and banks are not be trusted, period.

It would have to be a constitutional amendment. Supreme Court just opened the floodgates on corporate contributions.
