Thinking about what Fritzi might be wearing under that coat is making me dizzy!

The more realistic drawing of her versus the more cartoonish version of him is a big distraction.

The height difference is a little unnerving, as well……she could really dominate the relationship.

I don’t remember Phil being a shrimp. I remember him being tall and handsome. Either way, the artwork in today’s strip leaves something to be desired. Phil looks like a ten year old boy, not an adult male.

On the other hand, Fritzi is clearly a sophisticated lady who looks beyond a man’s cartoonish features to the person within. Truly beautiful.

You mean there’s someone in the strip besides Fritzi ?

Maybe Phil is still on the floor and that’s why he looks short.

Frtizi looks like a hot 30 something babe and Phil looks like a high school boy. He needs updating. It’s a very odd looking couple! Fritzi’s purple top certainly is curvy!! Fritzi is so out of his league; a real mis-match!

Great link! Phil looks like a “handsome-ish” 30 year old there, but like a featureless 13 going on 14 in Guy’s version (Guy, you should have used the man-eating plant fellow as Phil, he WAS Phil.) I prefer Ernie’s one, because it makes more sense. But if Guy already has drawn six more months of strips, we’ll see more of teenager Phil for the rest of this arc. Bummer.

Phil looks like someone that Fritzi would babysit. He’s six inches shorter and looks like 13 years old. You’ve got to fix this, Guy!

Womanly illogical logic? I wonder if they have that on Vulcan-prime and how do the males over there deal with it?

Maybe Phil was a high school BF of Fritzi’s who never grew up. Peter Pan syndrome. When you get ready for a real man, Fritzi, I’m available!

Crazy thought: although Fritzi looks stunning today, her looks are not the highlight of this strip, but rather the shmoo-like appearance of Phil is. In the last panel his left hand resembles a seal’s flipper.

Hang in there. I’m working on Phil….who, changed proportions for years as did Fritzi. I’m getting it as time goes on. btw, he’s always been a bit shorter than Fritzi.
