it is curious that we murder a bird and consume its remains to express gratitude to …what? Better than suicide-bombing in (his?) name, though…I guess.

The Democrats will decry the fact that a glass is half full, and wish that everyone could be provided with unlimited fresh water, regardless of practicality.

Republicans look at the same glass and say “Who took the rest of my water?”

howgozit: Sacrificed how? Lost their father so they could inherit all that wealth?

“…But somehow the real moochers have successfully demonized those that pay their way ..” I agree with this. It will turn out that many of the folks you don’t like will be able to agree with this as well.

I agree with you 100%, all those board meeting to vote each other pay raise and bonuses. Then all the meetings to figure out what cuts they need to make on the employees to pay for it. Not to mention all the song and dance routines to convince the stock holders that it’s in the best interest of the company.

I have a number of Norman Rockwell’s books of art. I wonder what he would think of the nation we are becoming and how it would be reflected in his art.This is the third toon I’ve seen using Rockwell’s Thanksgiving work as a template. I prefer the ideal.Happy Thanksgiving Neighbors, C.
