Actually the Mayan cities self destructed before the Christians ever showed up. Mayans were all into wiping out other nations themselves, it’s a human trait don’t need a religion just want to keep your family and friends on top. It’s called history try reading it occasionally.
catzilla, you’re right. and it wasn’t just them. Up until a couple hundred years ago, invading other people is what people did. Negotiating was rare….Hard to negotiate when the other folks want to kill you, rape and take your women and children and everything you own of value or care about…Foreign policy was kinda harsh back in the day…
