Kindness IS contagious-over and over and over again-along with respect and love and other good things…..Go Boog!Keep it up Mr. Jim…..reading Gasoline Alley is like coming home-a cozy little hamlet that is sequestered safely from today’s crazy world…there’s always a happy ending here! I can never get too many of those.
Spock’s childhood pet appeared in a time-travel episode (I think it may have been the first) of the animated series. It was kinda like a saber-toothed bear the size of a rhino.
As to Boog, remember that his birth mother (who was evil, insane, or both) raised his father as an animal, which is why he’s named “Rover”.

I like Boog. He’s a great addition to this strip. We need to see more of him and Rover and Hoogy and less of Slim and Clovia.

My comment yesterday regarding “reality” referred to the bullies’ transformation, not to Boogie talking to the beatr.

A real bear is a better friend than a stuffed tiger.
