Did Paul use Wikipedia about the 1919 Boston molasses spill? I was in Boston on a family summer road trip in 1998 & I don’t recall smelling molasses. I also have a cousin in Boston; I’ll have to ask her & her husband on FaceBook if they have instances like such.

Several years ago, Smithsonian magazine ran an article about the Boston molasses spill. Funny, but it came up in conversation again recently during a discussion about storm surges on the east coast.

One of my kids wrote about this in the third grade, and his paper was rejected by the idiot teacher because the assignment was to write about a real historical event.
