If you go back to the Ritzi Ritz comics from years ago, you would see that he is a old flame of hers. Except his hair is now more blonde than red now.

“Too many” = 48 years, according to Wikipedia. I don’t recall an actual story arc in “Nancy” before (as distinguished from a short run of thematically related strips).

I just glanced at today’s strip and without reading anything I remarked to myself “Looks like Guy resurrected Phil Fumble.” Gee, how long how he been out of the Nancy universe? The 1960’s? Is a “Fritzi Ritz” Sunday comic next on the horizon?
