You should see my Grandma looking for her remote ever since we upgraded her old stuff that only had knobs. She now has a remote for her radio, her air conditioner, her TV, her DVR, her adjustable bed, and her recliner. She gets more exercise now looking for a specific remote than when she had none.

My cell phone looks quite different from my remote, but my cordless phone looks enough like it I sometimes make this mistake!

You’re a plugger if you pick up the remote from in front of the TV, carry it to your recliner and then turn the set on.
