I’d make up an excuse to get out of the CIA too, the way Obama is throwing them under the bus for his bad decisions in Libya. Obama and his administration are blaming bad intelligence for the deaths of the ambassador, two navy seals, and another American. When the truth is finally revealed, we will learn that Mr. Obama and Joe Biden watched the whole battle live on television while continually repeating to their staff: “tell them to stand down and the terrorists will just give up and walk away.”

From the horse’s…mouth “In an answer to a question reading the CIA chief’s handling of the incident, the biographer said: ‘Now, I don’t know if a lot of you heard this, but the CIA annex had actually, um, had taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner and they think that the attack on the consulate was an effort to try to get these prisoners back. So that’s still being vetted.’” —Paula Broadwell quoted in the Guardian 12 Nov. 2012

CIA denies all of this of course, but if they were guarding illegal prisoners [in contradiction of Obama’s presidential directive’ the CIA would be the more likely source of the “stand down” order.

It’s a wilderness of mirrors and we’ll probably never know all the facts, especially if we do not “need to know”.

Okay, here’s the scoop. Its all a government conspiracy in concert with the media. With the presidential election over, how do you amuse and distract the people from the real issues of the deficit, the financial cliff, wars not going well, terrorist attacks, climate change, etc.? For the media, how do you provide content for airtime and column space? .Simple. Have a salacious scandal at high levels. General, step up, unzip and take one for the team. Its brilliant. American hero brought down for a bit of fluff; jealous blond and brunette sending catty and harassing emails to each other; CIA and FBI attempting to embarrass each other; shirtless FBI agent horning in on the action; top General in Afghanistan sending 40 emails a day to his intended honey; accusations of cover-up; inquiries and investigations all over the place. I see media content and ratings for the next six months at least..Hollywood or John Grisham could not make this up.

Secret Service agents in Colombia. Two generals with zipper problems. WHAT’s the problem?? Benghazi was a very simple screwup that Stevens himself walked into as his own sister said. There IS not “problem” except in the right wing press and empty-headed side of Congress.

When the 1st Cav had the lowest STD rate in the military, anywhere in the world, because we had “Sin City”, things worked well. Colliers magazine did an article, and the “blue noses” back home got the “safe place” closed down. Shortly after, the Cav had the HIGHEST STD RATE!

This story IS relevant, because whenever this country pays more attention to what “leaders” do with their zippers, the whole country goes down the toilet of mental defect.

Prohibition was a failed attempt at controlling “personal behaviors”, and it didn’t work.

Petraeus did something stupid, given his position, so what? What ever happened to “consenting adults” being left alone?
