Will you EVER wake up!! The cartoon was NOT about either liberals nor conservatives, it was an irony about plain people stuck in a bod situation not of their choosing!

Leaving a flood ravaged area, beaten by storms, to go buy gas, outside the range of a tank full of gas, exactly what Ima would do! Oh, right, trolls would just walk the distance, or ride one of the unicorns conservatives bought from Mitt, or Newt?

Looks like your type of conservative didn’t have enough sense of any description to find their way to the voting booth…

Or perhaps there were enough sensible conservatives to vote President Obama in for a second term?

    Yeah, I like that theory!

That is exactly what happened. They weren’t even dug out from the first storm, now gas rationing (still with the lines) and then they get hit by the nor’easter that swept up the coast with snow. No politics to it, at least in the cartoon. I so miss Clinton’s administration, minus the zipper drama. As in the “90’s,” today Chuck Schumer and Linsay Graham started working on immigration reform. No two senators are more intrenched in their parties ideology. I realize the republicans have their back to the wall with the Hispanic vote. Still, If those two can work out a compromise on this, anything is possible. Every element of our culture is at stake here. It can’t be “my way or no way at all,” on anyone’s part. The democrats didn’t win with a landslide popular vote. There is still close to HALF the country in the conservative camp. Threats and rigid partisanship will just make this worse and slow the economic recovery that is gasping for air as we speak. Everyone needs to swallow their pride (and ego) and work for solutions. I don’t mean to sound like a Pollyanna cheerleader here, I am genuinely afraid of where our country could end up if we don’t change our direction.
